She... read more was very kind and impatient to help us. After we sign the contract to rent the boat she gave us a ice box and an umbrella, even if the boat had a canopy. The boat was in good condition and behaved as expected. Trip was amainzing!!!! Even if the coast a bit to long. Some many lagunas and caves, a turquoise crystal clear water. Must the see the Cala Gonoritze and Cala Mariola they are beautiful for scuba and swim. Also must visit the Grotte del Bue Marino ( the last visit is at 15:10).

We went to Cala Goritze first then back along the beaches and had great fun cruising looking at the impressive coastline, caves and beaches and also push the limit to high-speeds and bouncing across the coast!
One of must be a strong swimmer to be able to get to shore after dropping anchor (which is not difficult) and luckily, we both were so did not have to faff with paddling to shore and then out again (motors cannot be run right near the shore). Afterwards, filled up the tank at the dock fuel station - which we were told about earlier - cost around 30 Euros. Overall, had a brilliant day - will be very memorable.

He was such a fun and engaging captain, the beaches and caves he took us were some of the most beautiful we've ever seen. It is a great value for money! They provide a cooler and beach umbrella, so just pop into the supermarket before to bring drinks and lunch as there aren't really any restaurants at the beaches. Highly recommend grabbing sandwiches to go from Retrovino Market Bar for lunch later!

It was a great way to see the water and beaches of Cala Ganone, you just anchor where you like and spend as much or little time in each location without having to worry about a schedule. The kids enjoyed just jumping off the boat when we reached a stunning location. Lots of snorkeling and caves to explore. We were given an ice box for our lunch and drinks, umbrella and the boat had a sun shade to use if required. If there is one thing you do in Cala Ganone, this should be it. Best day I have ever had on a holiday.

Abbiamo sostato a Cala Luna, Cala Sisine e Cala Mariolu e abbiamo nuotato tra le acque delle Piscine di Venere e nella grotta della Contessa. Giornata spettacolare! Lo rifarei!

Matey instructed us how to... read more operate it, but the part where you drive into the shore to drop off people then head back out was not very clear (I think a practise attempt at the nearby Cala Gonone beach should have been included). Didnt matter much in the end anyway, as every time I tried to do it on any of the beaches, a grumpy old man would shout at me to F off back out to sea (apparently it was too wavy for small boats, but that was a load of crap, as other boats of the same size were allowed in - the tour ones with pro
drivers). Ended up anchoring 100m from shore for each beach, and swimming in, but couldn't bring towels that way, so spoilt it slightly. Also wasn't allowed on Mariole beach at all as didn't have a 1 euro ticket which you must have before you leave port (Palmesera said it was a new rule that particular beach owner brought in on that day, but other boats had them and were allowed on, so not sure why they didn't know about it, which was a real let down - they said I could drive back to another beach miles away to purchase one, but I shouldn't have to if they gave me it at the start - I doubt I'd even be able to get one there anyway as they wouldn't even let me near the beach to get my wallet out). Overall a great day, but I think I'd go for the 12 person with driver tour next time, as you're guaranteed to get on the beaches without rebuff - not Palmasera's fault, but they could have warned us it might happen - wasn't told jack about it. Reason I rented one was basically to smash up the waves and that part was totally worth it, but beach wise it was a bit of a disaster. €40 for petrol at the end made it €200 in total, which was double what we would have paid if doing the driver tour for €50 each, but no qualms about that, although would have been 'more' worth it if they'd let us on at least one bloody beach!

  Because the boat season was not started, Rosa specially opened the rental for us. After a great day riding the boat we went home.

After a very quick but good intro on how to drive your boat, we were let loose on the open seas, free to discover the amazing beaches and coast line. Without doubt, the highlight of our holiday.
I cannot say a bad word about this company from start to finish.

  We were lucky to be able to book the day before. The lady we dealt with spoke excellent English and was very helpful. The boat (rib) was very nice and... read more a perfect size with room to spare for the 4 of us (3 adults and a 7 year old). We met at the booking hut (at the beach drop off point by the car park), filled in the paperwork, were given a cool box and a brolly, then walked half way down the beach to pick the boat up. Then started a great day of exploring the coast line (we went south), snorkelling and generally have a great time. Anchoring where we liked very close to the shore(except cordoned off beaches). You will need towels to cover the rubber as you climb back into the boat because it gets very hot! Climbing back aboard from the sea was a bit hard work with quite a short ladder but once one of you is back aboard its much easier because they can help the others. Well worth the money for a day of exploring away from the busy beaches.

The service we received from Palmasera boat rental was excellent, the boat was perfect and had a canopy for protection from the sun. We were shown all the controls and what to do before we left on our own and had a great day. Only thing that could have been better would have been a slightly longer ladder to get back on the boat when in deep water.
